What is Hair Restoration Therapy?
Hair restoration is a hair therapy that involves using platelet-rich plasma to promote hair growth on the scalp. Platelets is a component of the patient's own blood that contains a concentrated amount of growth factors and other bioactive proteins that can stimulate cell growth and regeneration.
During the procedure, a small amount of the patient's blood is drawn and then processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the other components of the blood. This is then injected into the scalp in areas where hair is thinning or balding. The goal of the treatment is to promote the growth of new hair follicles and improve the overall health and thickness of existing hair.
The procedure is performed in our med spa in a comfortable environment and takes about 30 minutes to complete. Most patients require multiple treatments spaced several weeks apart to achieve the desired results.
